I love my family to bits, they mean absolutely everything to me. I am also a total nut for my running, it gives me an incredible amount of joy and rewards in some form everyday. Whether that is in the form of a bouquet or kick up the rump, it never fails to remind how lucky I am to have embraced it.I believe in honesty, humility,hard work and compassion.I despise injustice and believe that good things come to good people.I was brought up on a staple of team sports and firmly believe the values learnt from that environment have served me well in life. However one of the reasons I got into running was to do something for myself.No excuses apart from the limitations you place on yourself.I am competitive but not consumed by it.I run for me.I have never been driven to compete just to beat someone else-ever.I am fortunate to have made many friends through running.I hope some of those were borne of shared commeraderie and good spirit whilst competing. Finally running reminds me daily that you get from life what you put in.
